Training thevisual system.
Therapeutic activities designed to improve visual skills and processing. Evidence-based programs customised to each patient's unique visual profile — for children, adults, and athletes.
What we treat.
Vision Therapy addresses conditions that eyeglasses alone cannot fix. Each patient receives a tailored program based on assessment.
Convergence Insufficiency
Difficulty turning the eyes inward for near tasks. Causes eye strain, headaches, and blurred vision when reading.
Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)
Reduced vision in one eye due to abnormal visual development. Most effective when treated early in childhood.
Strabismus (Eye Turn)
Misalignment of the eyes. Treatable with Vision Therapy — sometimes alongside surgery, sometimes as an alternative.
Visual Processing Disorders
Difficulty interpreting what the eyes see — often linked to reading difficulties and learning challenges in school.
Reading & Learning Difficulties
Vision problems that mimic or worsen dyslexia and attention issues. Treated with targeted therapy programs.
The programme.
From the first evaluation to your final review, every step is measurable and shared transparently with you and your family.
Initial Assessment
A binocular vision evaluation: we measure eye teaming, tracking, focusing, and visual processing skills.
Custom Program
A personalised plan built around your visual profile and goals — typically over 24–36 weeks.
Home Practice
Supplementary daily exercises that reinforce in-office therapy. Short, structured, and trackable.
Progress Review
Regular check-ins to measure progress and adjust the program. We share clear, measurable improvements at each milestone.
Children, adults, and athletes.

Reading difficulties · Attention challenges
When eyes can't team or focus, schoolwork suffers. Therapy strengthens the visual skills that reading and concentration depend on.

Concussion · Stroke · TBI
Brain injuries often disrupt visual processing. Therapy retrains the pathways between eye and brain, restoring comfort and function.

Reaction · Tracking · Focus
Faster reactions, sharper tracking, broader peripheral awareness — measurable improvements that translate directly to game day.
Things to know first.
What is Vision Therapy?
Vision Therapy is a customized program of therapeutic activities designed to improve visual skills and the brain's ability to process visual information. It is prescribed and monitored by an optometrist and addresses conditions that eyeglasses alone cannot correct.
Who can benefit from Vision Therapy?
Children with reading difficulties, attention challenges, or poor coordination often have underlying vision problems. Adults recovering from concussions, strokes, or traumatic brain injuries also benefit significantly. Athletes use Vision Therapy to enhance sports performance.
How long does Vision Therapy take?
Most programs run 24 to 36 weeks, with weekly in-office sessions supplemented by daily home exercises. The exact duration depends on the condition and the patient's progress.
Does insurance cover Vision Therapy?
Coverage varies by plan. Medical vision insurance (not routine vision insurance) often covers Vision Therapy for diagnosed conditions such as convergence insufficiency. We recommend calling your insurer before your initial assessment.
What happens at the initial assessment?
The initial binocular vision evaluation covers eye teaming, tracking, focusing, and visual processing skills. Based on the results, we develop a personalized therapy plan.
