Our Technology
Five clinical-grade instruments support every comprehensive exam — for early detection, precise diagnosis, and confident treatment plans.

Optomap Ultra-Widefield
Captures 200° retinal images in seconds — no dilation needed for most patients. Reveals early signs of retinal disease, diabetic changes, and ocular tumors.
Optical Coherence Tomography
Cross-sectional scans of the retina at micron resolution. Essential for early glaucoma detection, macular degeneration monitoring, and diabetic retinopathy.
Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer
Maps your peripheral vision precisely. Standard of care for glaucoma diagnosis and progression monitoring, and neurological vision concerns.
Goldmann Applanation Tonometry
Gold-standard intraocular pressure measurement. Critical for early glaucoma detection — the silent thief of sight.
Slit-Lamp Biomicroscopy
High-magnification view of the eye's front and back structures. Detects corneal disease, dry eye severity, lens opacities, and retinal abnormalities.
Patient Reviews
Dr. Nguyen took the time to truly understand my dry eye symptoms — the TearCare treatment changed everything. I haven't felt relief like this in years.
What is myopia control?
A clinical approach to slow the progression of nearsightedness in children. We use orthokeratology, low-dose atropine, or MiSight lenses — sometimes in combination — to reduce lifetime risk of retinal complications.
Is ortho-K safe for kids?
Yes — when fitted properly. Custom rigid lenses are worn overnight only and removed in the morning. Children wake to clear vision and we monitor compliance and corneal health at every visit.
How young can children start?
Children as young as 6 can begin myopia control once nearsightedness is confirmed. Progression is fastest during school-age years — that's why earlier intervention has the most impact long-term.
Does insurance cover it?
Coverage varies. Medical vision insurance (not routine plans) sometimes covers myopia control for diagnosed conditions. Call us before the consult — we'll help verify benefits and walk through any out-of-pocket options.
Eyewear Brands
From Tom Ford to Ray-Ban and Maui Jim, we hand-select frames for fit, durability and timeless style — across every age and budget.
